Bassgeige industrial estate in Goslar 

Med-X-Press is represented five times on the Bassgeige industrial estate in Goslar. In addition to three active temperature-controlled pharmaceutical warehouses (map: 1, 3 and 4) in the ambient area, the cold store (2), the new anaesthetic warehouse (3) and the advertising warehouse (5) are also located here. The sites are independent and self-sufficient - and that has advantages. They are independent in terms of energy supply and can be used as alternative storage facilities in the event of unforeseeable events with the familiar flexibility of the teams. This secures work processes and protects customers' products.  

Narcotics warehouse 

Med-X-Press's new narcotics warehouse is up and running. The "Fort Knox" of Goslar, was the headline in the Goslarsche Zeitung. On site, the climate-controlled vault is comparable to the thick Zwinger of 1517, which, as part of the former fortifications, effectively protected the town from capture. With its walls, some of which are 6.5 meters thick, it is one of the strongest fortification towers in Europe. Med-X-Press invested 5.4 million euros in its high-security wing, a large part of which was earmarked for the security technology. 

Cold storage 

The Med-X-Press refrigerated warehouse offers space for temperature-sensitive medicines in the 2 to 8 °C zone. This is where customers' products requiring refrigeration are stored and picked. A special ramp for sprinters was recently installed. This means that even smaller quantities can be handled quickly and easily during delivery and collection. 

Manufacturing

The high-bay warehouse with incoming and outgoing goods as well as the production rooms are located at the "Pracherstieg" company headquarters. Among other things, cytostatics are sorted here in accordance with GMP guidelines and three million syringes can be visually inspected at peak times in the vial and syringe sifting area.
