Goslar is known as a World Heritage town for its impressive old town with its many half-timbered houses and the Imperial Palace, the seat of government of the medieval wandering emperors. The Rammelsberg bears this title as a mine that was in operation for over 1,000 years. It allowed Goslar to prosper, but also caused economic decline - an up and down in the town's history. The old economy was replaced by modern industrial and service companies. Today, the region is regarded as the geographical center of Germany and is therefore also an ideal logistics location for Med-X-Press. This has many advantages for customers, such as the late cut-off times due to the optimal connection to national transport routes, airports and shipping routes.
